Business Problem or Opportunity
Attending tennis tournaments can be harder to navigate than it looks. Each tournament has different policies around what you can bring in, what courts you can get into and how the weather is known to affect your experience. If you’re not prepared you can sacrifice a ticket that likely cost you $300+. Best of Ten was created to arm tennis spectators with honest and reliable information on how to make the most of your experience.
Audience
Anyone who wants to attend a tennis tournament. These are likely young professionals who either have no relationship to the sport, have a slight interest in tennis, or are true tennis fans who don't have the money for the nice seats and tickets that cost $500+.

They might be influenced by a social group that wants to go to a local tournament for fun, or, for slightly more interested parties, Reddit threads and tennis media such as pro tennis players, influencers around the sport, ESPN or Tennis Channel, and other publications and journalists.
Main Message
What’s going on in their lives? What cultural tension can we resolve or passion can we appeal to?

They spend their lives working 9-5, and tennis is their "hobby," their escape. Attending tennis tournaments is the same as going on vacation or a night out on the town. For some, it's a bucket-list item; for others, it's a fun and exciting event that takes them out of their mundane, day-to-day work life.

Live sports are marketed like music festivals or on social media as more glamorous than they usually are — especially when you're consuming them through the lens of invited influencers. The reality is that no one tells you about the difficult things, like extreme heat, knowing where to sit to avoid the sun, how to get there, etc.
What we want them to say: "There's a brand that gives you the cheat codes to every major tennis tournament — like what to bring, where to sit, and what to actually expect. Whether you're finally planning that Australian Open trip or just trying not to look lost on a first date, they've got you covered."
Why it's true: My husband and I committed to attending every major ATP and WTA 1000-level tournament and above over 10 years, and we've experienced it all firsthand. No press pass, no credential — just average people attending tournaments and having real experiences.
